Caryn and Derek Ballou started competing in disc golf events in 2018. Since then, they've become heavily invested in the sport. They run leagues, create accessories, and play as much as they can. Derek holds the world record for the most sanctioned rounds played in one year!
They have two pugs who love adventures, especially getting out to play disc golf (and meet other disc golfers!).
Caryn has always enjoyed crafting of all kinds and working with her hands. Derek has a passion for design and making ideas come to life.
Together, they started Pug Life Disc Golf to share their creations with other disc golfers.
Most importantly, they're here to spread the Joy of Pug.
Nova
Nova joined the family in 2018. She is intelligent, curious, and loves adventures. If given the chance, she will climb any boulder, walk across any log, and inspect any cave or tunnel. She is sweet and calm, and loves to meet new people.
Her first disc golf course was Bald Mountain in Orion Twp., MI
Raven
Raven joined the family in 2021. Like most younger sisters, she adores her older sister. Wherever Nova is, she'll be too. She's highly energetic and always on the go.
Her first disc golf course was the Toboggan course in Milford, MI
